Terrain

Terrain should be setup as per the terrain maps for each battleplan. Please agree the nature of each terrain piece before you begin.

Battle Tactics

No Battle Tactics! Too lazy for those.

Battlescrolls

All current Battlescrolls are in play during the event.

House Rules

If you have a dispute over a rule, you can agree it amicably between yourselves or call over Paul or Wayne. Our judgement is final regardless of whether it is correct or not. Be warned, we tend to err on the side of rules as intended.

Army Painting and modelling

All models used should be fully painted miniatures of the appropriate type for the troops they represent. Conversions and kitbashes are actively encouraged, as long as they clearly represent the unit intended. If you are in doubt, please contact Paul on paulmarshallsay@btinternet.com.

Models must be based on correctly-sized round/oval bases.

Models not painted or based will not be removed as casualties but will incur a one win penalty. You can still play but you will not win. Paul and Wayne reserve the right to use a smaller penalty if your effort is clearly derisory.

Armies will be judged for the Best and Coolest Army Awards whilst on the tables. Watch out for Wayne wandering around. If there is any reason you do not want your army considered (eg you did not paint it!), then let us know.

Registration and army lists

There is no need to submit your army list, just make sure you bring a legal one!

Battle Plans

You can decide which battleplan you would like to play before the round, or roll from the available ones from this General’s handbook (or a previous one should you be so inclined).

Scoring and points

The following system will be used to differentiate players throughout the event. Although please note that we may use other parameters to separate players based on the general vibe of the event.

1.    Win/Draw/Lose

2.    Victory points scored

3. Victory points allowed

4.    Strength of schedule

Scoring

At the end of each of your games, let Paul know the result and all relevant scores.

Most Sporting Nomination

At the end of your last game, you must decide which of your opponents were the best one. Let Paul know.

Awards

·         Champion

·         2nd place

·         3rd place

·         Most Sporting Opponent: This will be awarded to the people who have the most sports votes.

·         Best Army: Armies will be nominated by the Paul and Wayne, please put out your army on Saturday lunchtime if you would like to be considered. The selected armies will be set up at lunch time on Sunday for the judges to find the overall winners.

·         Coolest Army

There may be other prizes announced at the event.

Fair play (just relax dude!)

This is a friendly and chilled event, and it is essential that players conduct themselves in the right spirit. Paul and Wayne reserve the right to dock points at their discretion for general unbecoming nonsense.
